The medium tack adhesive allows for easy unwind from the roll avoiding distortion of the film when being applied. This also allows for easy, clean removal of the tape from the protected surface after use whether indoors or outdoors. 8518 is resistant to moisture and many chemicals such as dilute acids, alkalis and solutions. Will adhere to powder coated aluminium, glass, stainless steel, PVC and many other commonly encountered surfaces yet remove cleanly leaving the protected goods in its original condition.
Applications:
Ideal for outdoor protection of a wide range of metals, coated metals and other surfaces during transportation and storage such as window frames, metal ladders, stainless steel products and mild steel products. This product should not be applied directly to the painted surfaces of Alucobond, Dibond, Alucore and Dilite, or directly over the protective foil. We recommend Stylus 2923 for these types of surfaces
